Through our sustainability materiality assessments, we prioritize our sustainability activities based on issues that are most relevant to our business and where we can have a meaningful impact.<\/p>\n            <\/div>\n            <\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n\n\n<section id=\"custom-block-3\" class=\"text-section-block mobile-pt-16px mobile-pb-0px desktop-pt-20px desktop-pb-0px\" style=\"background-color: ;\">\n    <div class=\"text-section-block__wrapper\">\n                            <h2 class=\"text-section__title desktop\">\n                How we engage\n            <\/h2>\n            <h3 class=\"text-section__title mobile\">\n                How we engage\n            <\/h3>\n        \n                    <div class=\"text-section__body paragraph\">\n                <p>We regularly engage with a wide range of stakeholders.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>We inform our&nbsp;<strong>shareholders<\/strong> and the broader investment community about our company strategy, financial performance, sustainability progress and governance, and business growth objectives through quarterly conference calls, analyst meetings, annual shareholder meetings, our integrated <a href=\"http:\/\/annualreport.thecloroxcompany.com\/\">annual report<\/a>, 10-K and other SEC-required filings, as well as through the Investor and Responsibility sections of our company website.<\/li>\n<li>We conduct annual <strong>employee<\/strong> engagement surveys to measure employee perceptions of working at Clorox and benchmark our scores against prior years and other Fortune 500 companies. We also hold quarterly global town halls and other departmental meetings to share company information and invite employees to ask questions and share their thoughts.<\/li>\n<li>We talk to&nbsp;<strong>consumers<\/strong> through in-home studies, online focus groups and surveys to better understand how we can continue to deliver high-quality products that address their needs and improve their health and well-being.<\/li>\n<li>We meet with&nbsp;<strong>nongovernmental organizations<\/strong>&nbsp;on a variety of issues, including sustainability, product safety and disaster relief.<\/li>\n<li>We engage with <strong>government agencies and the political process<\/strong> to support responsible policy aligned with our corporate purpose, mission and objectives.<\/li>\n<li>We engage with our <strong>industry and business<\/strong> <strong>partners<\/strong> on a wide range of business topics, including packaging and responsible sourcing, to learn from each other and collaborate on some of the biggest challenges facing our industry, including protecting the planet and respecting human rights in supply chains.<\/li>\n<li>We contribute to the health of our<strong> communities<\/strong> through The Clorox Company Foundation and other philanthropic initiatives, and direct corporate financial and product donations. We support disaster relief and public health, among other causes, as well as through financial aid and donations of trash bags, bleach, and other disinfecting products to help with cleanup efforts and sanitization needs.<\/li>\n<li>As a leader in the consumer packaged goods industry, we participate in<strong> trade associations and other organizations <\/strong>that represent a variety of views on industry and policy matters. Purpose and clarity of mission are important to us, and we consider our participation in these organizations by their ability to effectively address the issues of concern to our businesses and, on balance, serve the long-term interests of our brands and stockholders. A few of those organizations include the American Cleaning Institute; Council for Responsible Nutrition; Consumer Brands Association, which our CEO currently serves as chair; Household &amp; Commercial Products Association; National Association of Manufacturers; and the Personal Care Products Council. While we don&rsquo;t necessarily agree with all the views or positions of these groups or their affiliates, nor do we necessarily agree with our industry peers, we do believe in and are committed to collaborative problem-solving. We think involvement in these associations is the best way to identify and address concerns, have the greatest impact and arrive at good outcomes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n            <\/div>\n
